Roswell Adaptive Friendship Day CampAdaptive Friendship Camp
This camp is for special needs like Autism, ADD/ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities and more. Day Camp for Ages 4-18+ includes exciting themes focused on social skills. Activities include music activities, crafts, outside play, and most of all opportunities to make friends.
 
Day Camp weeks will include a variety of activities centered around social interaction. Camp themes include Under the Sea, Wild  West Adventures, Dinosur Dig, Around the World and Space is the Place,. Cumming Adaptive Friendship Camp is for children to young adults with special needs who are interested in making friends, learning to be better friends, and having fun. Participants must be able to function in a group of 8-10 campers or a group of 4-5 campers who need more adult support to address behaviors and daily living skills.
 
Every day at Cumming Adaptive Friendship Camp is focused on positively influencing others. The summer day camp experience strives to make a difference in the lives of everyone: campers, families, volunteers, experienced staff and our local community. Each day is filled with structured activities including crafts, outside play/activities, group games, water play and much more. Staff members are educational and medical professionals who understand and have been trained in the characteristics of and research based strategies used for children with special needs. Our camp staff is skilled in creating a structured and supportive environment that fosters the positive social and life skills of each camper who attends day camp.  Managed by Social Skills Today.
